Elon Musk hiring content moderation team of 100 employees
Elon Musk's company X, has announced the opening of a new Trust and Safety office in Austin, Texas, to proactively address the growing issues about content moderation. X's dedication to strengthening content moderation efforts and improving user safety on the platform is shown in this effort.
X will hire 100 full-time staff for the new Trust and Safety office in Austin. These workers will act as the core of a Content moderation team that specializes in different aspects related to content Operation such as CSEM and other Moderations.
Focused Initiatives Towards Child Sexual Exploitation Mitigation
A major area of concern for the newly created content moderation team will be CSEM issues. This initiative emphasizes X’s dedication to fighting online abuse and providing a safe space for individuals, especially not-so-privileged ones.
Along with CSEM moderation, the content moderation team will also participate in other kinds of removal activities such as addressing hate speech or spam and fraud. The team will play an important part in policing the platforms and ensuring a high standard of content quality. On January 31, Linda Yaccarino of X will be testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee regarding what is referred to as Child Sexual Exploitation Moderation and how that pertains to X.
